My New Toy!

I got  my Christmas present early!  It's a Nikon D3100 DSLR camera.  I've had so much fun w/ it already.  I love taking pictures. :)  These are all of Lydia & Kyle and around the house yesterday.

Special Visitor

Ali came to visit us during the Thanksgiving holiday for a week.  He is a family friend ("adopted brother") that my sister met while she was in school @ Vincennes.  He is working in his home country, Liberia, Africa and we don't get to see him often anymore.  It was really nice to catch up and see what he is doing to help the bush people from his native country.

Ali helped us decorate for Christmas @ church.

He visited my classroom, showed some pictures he took from the bush in Africa, and talked about how he is helping the Liberians that live in the bush keep their land.
