Welcome, Lilly Jean Foster

Lilly Jean Foster (Kyle's Cousin) was born this morning at 10:38 am. She weighed 6lb 11oz and was 18 inches long. Ryan's sister, Lena and her husband Toby are very proud but exhausted.
Kyle thought Lilly was pretty neat. He was ready to grab hold!!

Yeah, Kyle got to spend some time with Nanny!!!
Tristan and Daniel are so excited to have a little sister.
Yeah, Kyle got to spend some time with Grandma Rheta, too!

6 months!!!

Kyle has changed so much. He loves to be outside on the porch. We have a rubber mat out there and he army crawls all over it.
We have a slide show picture frame on our mantle, and he watches it and coos at the pictures as they change.

He gives wonderful hugs and kisses and he's really playful.

He started eating solid foods at five months and within two weeks he was eating three meals a day.

He sits up on his own. He tries to pull up and he loves to stand.

At his 6 month checkup he weighed 16 lbs. 12 oz. and was 26 inches long.

Purdue

Kyle and Amber went up to Purdue with Papaw and Grandma for The Indiana FFA convention. We just hung out while Papaw took his students to their meetings. It was nice to go visit Purdue again. While we were up there Papaw took a side trip to see the windmills in Benton County, Indiana.

Father's Day

Ryan rocked Kyle to sleep on the porch before church on Father's Day. He's such a good dad.

Daddy's Work

We went to visit Ryan at work in June. That's one proud papa!! :)

Waltz Reunion

This picture of Kyle with Grandma and Grandpa Cook was at Kyle's first Waltz reunion in June. Ryan's family has their reunions at a shelter house on the farm where Rheta and her brother's and sister grew up just outside of Trafalgar.

Daddy's Birthday

Ryan got a motorcycle from Kyle and me for his birthday this year.

Tractor Ride

Kyle went on his first tractor ride with Papaw Herb when we were up there for Memorial Day weekend.

Rocky and Kyle

Kyle began noticing Rocky in May. Now, he watches Rocky all the time. He pets him and tries to grab him. Rocky doesn't seem to mind the attention as long as Kyle doesn't grab too hard.

Papaw's Windmill

On May 31st my Dad, Ryan, Jim, Richard, and Adriane put up a 60 ft windmill at my parent's farm. When complete, it will pump water for their cattle from an old well. This project was over a year in the making. It was a scary and exciting day. God blessed the work and the windmill went up very smoothly. It was quite an amazing sight.
